The Huntington Group provides these services to organizations in various industries such as publicly traded corporations, closely held corporations, non-profit organizations, and public agencies. The principals of The Huntington Group focus on the healthcare industry, but are also very experienced in consulting with non-healthcare businesses in the areas of risk management organizational structure, risk financing, and insurance programs.

Richard R. Huntington, CPCU, ARM and Elizabeth A. Huntington, BSN, MSN, JD
Dick has more than 30 years of experience in the risk management industry. He has provided services to his clients as a risk management consultant, an insurance company executive and insurance broker.
During most of his career, he has specialized in Alternative Risk Techniques such as trust funds for self-insurance programs, single parent captives, group captives, risk retention groups, and public agency pooling arrangements. His activities in this field have included feasibility studies, captive formation, operational analyses of captive operations, and active participation in the deliberations of captive boards and committees.
Beth has more than 20 years of experience in the health care and health care risk management industry. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the University of Iowa College of Law. She completed 30 credit hours toward a Master’s Degree in Hospital and Health Administration at the University of Iowa and is admitted to the Iowa and Wisconsin Bars.
Beth spent her earlier career years in nursing working as a staff nurse and manager of pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals of Cleveland, Rainbow Babies’ and Children’s Hospital. Later in her nursing career, Beth focused on neonatal ICU and was instrumental in starting the neonatal nurse practitioner program at Rainbow Babies’ and Children’s Hospital.
